A private family in the Upper East Side is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented High-Level Housekeeper to join their fully staffed residence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the pristine condition of a 20,000 sq. ft., 10-floor home, performing fine housekeeping duties, and assisting with breakfast preparation on the chef’s days off. This role requires a meticulous individual with experience caring for luxury homes, fine garments, and antiques, as well as a strong ability to work within a team.

Perform daily fine housekeeping and deep cleaning duties throughout the residence.

Care for fine garments and linens, including laundry and ironing.

Assist with formal serving for events, parties, and family meals.

Set the table and serve meals in a professional and refined manner.

Deep clean all bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces, including detailed dusting of all surfaces.

Follow NYC recycling rules while emptying trash and managing waste disposal.

Clean fine surfaces, including caring for antiques (excluding Chinese artwork, paintings, and sculptures).

Sweep, scrub, and mop floors; vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.

Make beds, change linens, and provide turn-down service as needed.

Maintain and deep clean the gym, workout equipment, and accessories.

Polish and maintain silver, flatware, trays, and serving pieces.

Liaise with the Chef and Houseman to ensure refrigerators and the family pantry are well-stocked.

Assist the Houseman with packing, unpacking, and travel preparations for the homeowners.

Walk and feed dogs when the family is in residence.

Identify and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements.

Travel to the Hamptons 3-4 days per month during the summer to assist with housekeeping duties (housing and expenses covered).

Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-level housekeeping within a private residence.

Strong culinary skills, particularly in breakfast preparation (eggs, yogurt, granola, fruit).

Ability to handle fine linens, antiques, and luxury furnishings with care.

Expertise in deep cleaning techniques and knowledge of cleaning products for delicate surfaces.

Experience in formal table setting and high-end meal service.
