Full-Time Mother’s Helper/Nanny Fluent French Speaker Needed
Location: Brooklyn Heights, NY
Start Date: June 2025
Compensation: $35/hour (paid via payroll)
Includes health stipend, 2 PTO days, and travel opportunities.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12 PM–8 PM
Flexibility required for occasional travel (including up to 2 weeks internationally).
About the Family:
We are a fun, active family with two cats, a toddler (1-year-old), and a newborn expected soon. Both parents are seeking someone who will feel at home in our family dynamic, work collaboratively with mom (a stay-at-home mom), and build a long-term relationship with us. This role also involves assisting the grandmother, who will help with the newborn.
Key Responsibilities:
Nanny Support:
Engage in creative and playful activities with our toddler.
Provide attentive care for the newborn once born (e.g., diaper changes, feeding, maintaining nap schedules).
Follow and maintain consistent childcare routines.
Household Support:
Light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
Kitchen cleanup and organization.
Run errands (e.g., shopping, dry cleaning).
Travel:
Accompany the family on occasional international trips (passport readiness required).
Requirements:
Fluent in English and French
Excellent childcare experience (with toddlers and newborns).
Positive attitude and ability to collaborate with mom in a “tag-team” approach.
Comfortable in a home with cats.
