Job Description: Household / Family Assistant needed in Sacramento, CA (95818)

Location: Sacramento, CA (95818)

Hours: 10 hours per week 

Schedule: two 5-hour days, ideally Tuesdays and Thursdays but can be flexible

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Household/Family Assistant to support a range of day-to-day household needs, along with occasional project-based tasks as they arise. Responsibilities 

• General tidying (living areas, kitchen, dishwasher, etc)
• Laundry (some hand washing required)
• Home organizational projects/ assisting with decluttering and donations
• Regular fridge, freezer, and pantry cleanouts
• Grocery shopping / maintaining fridge & pantry inventory, light ingredient prep
• Assisting with garbage/recycling/compost, especially when client is out of town
• Pet care (dog walking, schedule vet / grooming / boarding appointments, etc)
• Running errands (dry cleaning, returns, donations, prescription pickups)
• Mailing wedding thank-you cards
• Calendar coordination 
• Occasional seasonal project suggestions
• Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance
• Assist with ad hoc projects (example: assisting with light travel logistics, research, light vendor coordination, etc.)

Compensation: $32-35/hour on payroll (based on experience)

Qualifications:

• Proactive, reliable, eager to learn
• Excellent communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, forward thinking
• Prior experience in a similar role
• Reliable car & valid driver’s license
• Someone who is comfortable / enjoys being around dogs
