This multifaceted role requires a polished, proactive, and emotionally intelligent individual to provide comprehensive logistical and strategic support—helping the principal optimize her time, energy, and resources across a wide spectrum of personal, professional, and philanthropic initiatives.
Position Summary:
The ideal candidate is a sharp, detail-oriented, and upbeat professional who thrives in a high-touch, fast-paced environment. This role requires exceptional communication skills, sound judgment, and a high degree of discretion. Responsibilities range from managing a busy calendar and coordinating household operations to overseeing family-related matters and serving as a trusted right hand and liaison across all areas of the principal's life.
You will play a critical role in keeping day-to-day life running smoothly while also contributing to long-term planning and meaningful causes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and logistical support to the principal in all areas of her personal and professional life
- Manage and coordinate complex calendars, appointments, and travel arrangements (domestic and international)
- Oversee household operations, including management of staff, vendors, and maintenance schedules
- Manage and support international household operations, requiring an understanding of cultural nuances, staffing norms, and logistical systems in global home management
- Assist with family logistics, including scheduling, communication, and support for older children as needed
- Liaise with philanthropic partners, board members, and key contacts with professionalism and discretion
- Handle personal errands, gift sourcing, event planning, and project-based assignments
- Maintain systems for filing, contact management, and household documentation
- Monitor and manage priorities, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
- Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence and communications
- Serve as a gatekeeper and facilitator to protect the principal’s time and energy
Key Qualifications:
- Superior verbal and written communication skills; able to express ideas with clarity, diplomacy, and confidence
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities
- Independent and self-directed; able to manage time and responsibilities without close supervision
- Skilled in prioritizing and juggling multiple tasks with efficiency and accuracy
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving skills

- Flexible and adaptable in handling shifting priorities or unexpected needs
- Tech-savvy; proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital tools for task management
- Absolute discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
- Prior experience supporting a high-profile individual or family strongly preferred
- Understanding of home management in international locations is essential, including familiarity with systems and logistics unique to managing residences abroad
Compensation & Benefits:
$60 per hour × 30 hours per week
