Rotational Nanny – Washington, DC
Location: Washington, DC
Schedule: Rotational (7 days on / 7 days off), Live-in during working week
Compensation: $130k-$150k + benefits

A warm and respectful high-profile family in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced and educated rotational nanny to join their household team. The nanny will provide loving, developmentally appropriate care for two young children in a dynamic, structured environment. The position operates on a week-on/week-off schedule, requiring live-in support during the working week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, child-centered care focused on emotional, physical, and intellectual development
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and curiosity
- Coordinate daily routines including meals, naps, playtime, and outings
- Track developmental milestones and communicate progress regularly with parents
- Travel with the family as needed (domestic and international)
- Maintain a tidy and organized children’s environment, including bedrooms and play areas
- Collaborate respectfully with other household staff and rotational nanny to ensure consistency of care
- Exercise discretion and confidentiality at all times
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience, ideally in a rotational role
- Experience working in high-profile or fully staffed households
- Background in early childhood education, child development, psychology, or a related field preferred
- Confident managing multiple children and adapting to evolving family needs
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- CPR and First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
