Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and professional Live-Out Private Chef to join a private family household based in the Cotswolds. This is a full-time, permanent position for a health-conscious family who prioritise performance-based nutrition and require a skilled chef to support their dietary lifestyle and occasional entertaining needs.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the Principals.
  • Design nutritionally balanced, macro-specific menus in collaboration with a nutritionist and strength & conditioning team.
  • Ensure meals are health-focused, creative, and delicious.
  • Cater for dinner parties and social gatherings, as required.
  • Source and shop for seasonal, high-quality ingredients.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and maintain a well-stocked pantry and wine cellar.
  • Oversee the preparation and maintenance of a ‘Wild kitchen’, as needed.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in all kitchen areas.
  • Travel with the family domestically and internationally when required.
  • Work closely with other household staff as part of a high-performance private team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a private chef or in high-end hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of performance-based nutrition and dietary planning.
  • Exceptional culinary skills and creativity with the ability to tailor meals to specific requirements.
  • Trustworthy, discreet, and highly professional.
  • Willingness to travel with the family (UK & overseas).
  • Comfortable working around dogs and within a family environment.
  • Full driving license and own vehicle required.
  • Must pass an Enhanced DBS check at offer stage.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexible working hours, including occasional weekends.
