Position Overview:
The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing the school’s marketing and communication strategies. This role plays a key part in enhancing the school’s visibility, promoting its mission, and building strong relationships with current and prospective families. The ideal candidate is a creative, strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in marketing, branding, and communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Execution:
? Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the school’s mission and goals.
? Oversee the creation of marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and social media initiatives.
? Ensure consistent and high-quality branding across all platforms and materials.
? Manage the school’s website, ensuring content is current, accurate, and engaging.
Brand Management & Communications:
? Maintain and enhance the school’s visual identity, including logos, fonts, colors, and messaging.
? Create and manage content for newsletters, press releases, social media, and other communication channels.
? Collaborate with leadership to ensure internal and external messaging is clear, consistent, and impactful.
Community Engagement & Media Relations:
? Strengthen relationships with local and national media outlets.
? Manage press coverage, including responding to media inquiries and writing press releases.
? Promote school events, programs, and achievements through strategic media placement.
Content Creation & Oversight:
? Lead the production of marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, and promotional videos.
? Oversee photography and videography to capture school events and activities for marketing purposes.
? Collaborate with faculty and staff to showcase student achievements and school initiatives.
Market Research & Analysis:
? Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
? Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using relevant metrics and analytics tools.
? Provide regular reports and insights to school leadership.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
? 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in an educational environment.
? Strong leadership and project management skills.
? Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
? Proficiency in digital marketing, including SEO, social media management, and email marketing platforms.
? Experience with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools.
