Ideal Candidate: The family seeks a down-to-earth, proactive, and experienced full-time nanny/ private educator to provide care for their three children and assist the family with household needs. They are looking for a nurturing nanny who possesses a keen understanding of child development and can artfully cultivate each child’s innate curiosity through engaging activities such as arts and crafts, baking, board and card games, puzzles, and reading. They will foster learning through nature walks, simple science exploration, and discussions about maps and weather. The nanny will encourage active play with walks, bike rides, playing catch, soccer, park trips, and obstacle courses, with the potential for outings to a climbing gym or the beach. They will also incorporate Legos, Mad Libs, rhyming games, riddles, Hangman, and age-appropriate math problems into the children’s day. Promoting responsibility through chores and allowance opportunities is also desired. The ideal candidate will be resourceful in planning these and other enriching, screen-free activities, including curating library books and even setting up some garage golf fun. Please be ready to collaborate with the parents and exhibit reliability and adaptability to accommodate a dynamic family schedule. Proven experience with the ability to manage school logistics and related household tasks is essential.
Job Synopsis: This opportunity offers a unique chance to blend a passion for healthy living with daily childcare and family assistant responsibilities. Start your day collaborating with mom planning activities, running errands for the family, and walking their sweet puppy. Help set the family up for success by grocery shopping and meal prepping before picking the children up from school, and helping with extracurricular activities and homework, or going on a fun bike ride with the kids to the beach or library. This position requires a candidate with a college degree and experience in discretion and professionalism in the home. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 10 am-6 pm, with flexibility to work some weekends. This role is paying $40+/hr DOE with two weeks of paid vacation and paid sick days. A clean driving record is a must, and a vehicle will be provided for the nanny to use during working hours.
