Overview:

We’re seeking a sharp, resourceful, and proactive Personal Assistant to support a busy household and help ensure that all personal and household operations run smoothly behind the scenes. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, organized, has great taste, and thrives on problem-solving. This is a hands-on role for a true “Jill/Jack of All Trades” who’s just as comfortable coordinating home renovations as they are managing a family calendar or running errands. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lovely and dynamic family for the long term.

Key Responsibilities:

Family Logistics & Calendar Management

  • Coordinate personal and family calendars (including two teenagers)
  • Arrange personal and family travel (flights, hotels, activities, transportation)
  • Manage personal events from small intimate gathering to larger parties

Household Operations & Maintenance

  • Manage general day-to-day household operations
  • Source, vet, and manage vendors and contractors for home maintenance and repair projects
  • Assist in overseeing an ongoing home renovation project(s)
  • Maintain and update the household manual and preventative maintenance schedule
  • Ensure preventative maintenance tasks are scheduled and completed on time

Errands & Inventory

  • Run local errands (grocery shopping, dry cleaning, post office, returns, etc.)
  • Manage and track incoming orders and returns
  • Maintain household inventories and restock supplies as needed

Organization & Projects

  • Assist with home organization projects (closets, storage, digital files, etc.)
  • Take ownership of ad hoc personal or household projects as they arise
    Bring a design eye to home tasks and support in sourcing aesthetically aligned items

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a personal assistant, house manager, or similar role
  • Tech savvy – comfortable using Google Docs, Monday.com, Savant, Adobe Illustrator, and/or SketchUp
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent judgment, discretion, and reliability
  • Great taste and an eye for design and aesthetics
  • Comfortable rolling up your sleeves and wearing many hats
  • Curious, quick learner, and enjoys improving systems
  • Solutions-oriented with a problem-solving approach to challenges
  • Adaptable and calm under pressure

Package:

  • Compensation: 125-150K DOE (Guaranteed 40 hours + OT)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 10am-6pm with some flex (3-4 days onsite, 1-2 WFH)
  • Benefits/Stipend: 2 weeks PTO, 5 sick days, 8 federal holidays
