Executive Housekeeper

Position: Seeking a professional experienced Executive Housekeeper to perform the daily hands-on cleaning and oversight of their home. The residence is approximately 8K sf and a guest pool house, on 2.5 acres in Cherry Hills Village, Denver, Colorado. This is a very busy professional couple, that travel often and have 3 sweet, wonderful English Cocker dogs. The dogs are a huge part of the family. There are adult children that visit along with grandchildren on occasion.

Local applicants only. No relocation.

Responsibilities: 

• Full charge cleaning with acute attention-to-detail
• Daily walk through of property
• Deep cleaning and outdoor cleaning projects 
• General tidying when Principals are in residence,i.e. weekly changing and laundering of linens
• Light laundry and ironing skills, dry cleaning management 
• Inventory management of cleaning supplies, household consumables, shopping and other errands 
• Maintaining the frig and freezers 
• Trash and recycling 
• Willing to cross train and coordinate with the Executive Personal Assistant and part-time hands-on House Manager to maintain consistency of the property 
• Pet care and pet/house sitting responsibilities to be shared with the part-time House Manager if interested. Generous compensation for overnights 
• Light food prep as needed although the couple has a meal service 
• Help with events–very few 
• Bring in mail and sort if needed
• Able to oversee vendors or service people when needed

Requirements:

• Represent the family in a professional, discreet manner at all times.
• Be willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement
• Clean background check, valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Maintain property security
• Be generally technically savvy
• Able to work flex hours, alone and as a team.
• Travel to other properties will be needed periodically. Accommodations provided
• Physical mobility and stamina are needed to reach, bend, kneel, squat, crouch. Some heavy lifting may be required up to 30 lbs.
• Be reliable
• Must be able to drive in inclement but safe weather
• Deep passion for organization and service
• Be amenable to cross training and sharing of responsibilities
• Positive energy, calm, pleasant demeanor
• Covid vaccinated
• Must have excellent verifiable references
• Fluent English language

Schedule:

We are offering a basic schedule of Monday – Thursday/Friday, or Tuesday - Friday, 7 - 8 hours daily. 1⁄2 hour paid lunch. We offer flexibility to accommodate family, appointments, etc. A 4-day workweek definitely an option here.

$35-45 per hour based on experience and references. This is a generous couple that shows appreciation for good service

Extra compensation for house and pet sitting overnights and weekends.

10 Paid Holidays+ 

New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and day after, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

*If any Holiday is on a weekend, you will receive a paid day off during the week.

Other: Although this is a casual household, you must be discreet and understand appropriate boundaries. You must maintain strict confidentiality and be professional. You must love dogs. The part-time hands-on House Manager will be working alongside the EHK on some duties as well.
