We are seeking a versatile and dedicated Property Manager | Personal Assistant for a dynamic and active family in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and tech-savvy, capable of efficiently managing a range of administrative tasks related to the family's estate while also providing strong property-related support to the long-time Director of Residences. This role requires someone who excels in a fast-paced environment and can oversee extensive household responsibilities.
The Property Manager | Personal Assistant must be able to take direction from the Director of Residences while also working independently, demonstrating initiative, attention to detail, and ensuring the household and properties run smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Provide right-hand support to the current Director of Residences.
- Assist in the oversight of properties coordinating with contractors, vendors, etc.
- Manage and update estate manuals regularly.
- Assist in managing a substantial artwork portfolio using specialized art management software.
- Organize the family library by subject and author and maintain an updated inventory.
- Handle general expense report organization and procurement research as required by the principals.
- Manage digital storage of receipts and event documents using Dropbox.
- Assistant in managing the property, including coordination with vendors and contractors.
- Run errands, track inventory and supplies, and undertake other duties as assigned.
- Assist with household events as needed.
- Travel domestically to other properties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 5+ years of experience in residential property and estate management. Longevity in past positions is important!
- Must be local to the Austin area, or willing to relocate to Austin (no relocation allowance is provide.
- Proficiency in technology, including Google Suite, Dropbox, and Excel. Strong administrative and organizational skills are required.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Knowledge of art software management systems is highly desirable.
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
- Willingness to undergo a thorough background investigation.
- Must be able to provide three recent employment references from supervisors/employers.
Compensation:
- Up to $120,000 per year | DOE
- Paid medical, dental, and vision
- 10 days of paid vacation
