Luxury Experience Head Housekeeper for Upscale NYC Penthouse

Location: UPPER EAST SIDE New York, NY,10065

 A private couple based out of New York state seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to lead the upkeep of their brand new upscale Duplex.  The ideal candidate will be a team player, with a “can-do” and upbeat attitude, and experience working in a formal private home setting ensuring that the highest standards are met throughout.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Full-charge housekeeping responsibilities; hands-on museum-quality cleaning of residence working alongside another household staff. Good attitude, high energy, strong work ethic and an attention to detail.
• Hands-on care for furniture; polishing fine surfaces
• Laundry and ironing of clothing and linens, caring for fine garments, travel packing/unpacking
• Detail attention to exclusive and unique art
• Maintaining household inventory organization (closets, pantries, cabinets, etc.)
• Silver care & maintenance
• Handling special requests, errands and related duties as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years related work experience in a private residence
• Excellent references from previous employers
• Utmost sense of confidentiality and discretion
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (English)
• Professional, polished, and poised at all times
• Valid US work authorization
• Live-Out

 Schedule

• The principals live in the Southwest West and they come to their New York City apartment once a month in average.
• Monday – Friday 8am - 4pm. Flexibility to work overtime, evenings and/or weekends when the principals are staying in residence.
