Description

We are looking for a smart, hands-on individual to operate as Personal/Executive Assistant and Household Manager for our small family (two adults + dog) and multi-level home in Russian Hill. This is a part time role (~20 hours per week) with some flexibility on the exact days/times.  This is a great role for a professional who likes to work independently and is ok with no two weeks being exactly the same.

Some specific responsibilities include:

  • Personal assistant tasks (reservations, scheduling appointments, travel prep, buying gifts)
  • Executive assistant tasks (working closely with principal’s business admin to ensure continuity across business and personal schedules, travel planning, general admin support)
  • Managing house maintenance schedule, including coordinating all house vendors and contractors
  • Managing/coordinating other household staff, including dog walker, gardener and housecleaner
  • Caring for dog (vet/grooming appointments, occasional walks)
  • Responsible for care of our cars, such car washes and scheduling maintenance
  • Keeping household inventory stocked
  • Running errands
  • Misc projects around the house (organizing, researching solutions, party/event planning)

Requirements:

  • Prior administrative or business experience preferred
  • High degree of confidentiality/discretion
  • Ability to independently manage weekly tasks and longer-term projects to completion
  • Initiative to identify improvements and solve problems
  • Energetic, organized, efficient and a good communicator
  • Computer savvy; ability to manage family calendar and shared documents for larger projects
  • Loves dogs
  • COVID vaccinated
