Live-in Cook, 6 day work week, who is also an experienced Housekeeper
Mature couple seeking a live-in Cook / Housekeeper to work six (6) days a week, approximately 10 hours a day. In Florida a minimum of seven (7) months, and approximately one (1) month in California. Summer months may also be in Florida, or another State in the US, or in Europe. Private, separate, beautifully furnished accommodations provided, plus a vehicle for work, and personal use. Day off may be spent at the employers residence, so maintaining another residence would not be necessary.
COOKING
NOTE: This is a plain cook position NOT a Chef. Food selections are simple, organic healthy meals, like grilled chicken, steak, hamburgers, chicken stew, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables, and no sauces or dairy. The Cook must also handle all the grocery shopping for the refrigerator, pantry, and order all related supplies. The couple dine out one or two times per week.
CLEANING
The Cook needs to keep the kitchen clean at all times, and handle regular house cleaning tasks, such as changing linens, light laundry, mopping, vacuuming, etc.
PLEASE NOTE: Estate Managers, Assistants, Chefs, Nanny's, Drivers, etc. NEED NOT APPLY. We are only looking for a plain cook, who is also an experienced grocery shopper and excellent housekeeper.
OVERALL
Must maintain a high level of personal and workplace hygiene to ensure a clean and safe environment for all. Willingness to transition between cleaning and cooking duties is essential. Must be pet friendly, non-smoker, good cleanliness and organization, and work well with existing staff.
All candidates must have recent, verifiable references and a clean driving record.
Position is available immediately, salary is non-negotiable.
