We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team and assist in the operations of an expansive, waterfront estate and complementary portfolio of properties in Naples, Florida that operate like a refined five-star luxury resort. We are seeking a professional, detailed and service-oriented Houseman (Housekeeper, Operations) to join the estate team. The ideal candidate is experienced in luxury environments, including high-end finishes, fabrics and furnishings; art and collectibles; and formal service protocols. The role requires discretion, consistency, and attentiveness in a private household while contributing both individually and as part of a larger housekeeping team.
This role will report to the Executive Housekeeper as part of a larger housekeeping team working to uphold a high standard of cleanliness, organization, and hospitality across the portfolio of properties. The ideal candidate brings a strong service mentality, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to upkeep, logistics, and refined aesthetic presentation of the interior and exterior.
The Houseman role is a full-time position and requires flexibility for longer hours and weekends, as needed. This role will work across all properties in the portfolio and candidates must be comfortable travelling locally in the Naples area.
Responsibilities

Household Responsibilities:
- Perform daily housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, and organizing in all areas of the estate
- Maintain and care for fine finishes, antiques, artwork, and high-end surfaces using appropriate products and techniques
- Maintain cleanliness, order and presentation in mechanical rooms, service areas, pantries, storage facilities, household equipment and garages
- Track and restock cleaning and household supplies, reporting low inventory to the Executive Housekeeper
- Monitor and report maintenance issues (leaks, damage, broken fixtures, etc.) promptly to Executive Housekeeper
- Utilize digital platforms and software to track inventory, task completion, manage individual schedule, and communicate with the broader household team
- Ensure all bedrooms, bathrooms, common spaces at all properties are consistently guest-ready, following specific checklists and service standards
- Assist with special preparations for and service during guest stays or property events
- Conduct seasonal deep cleans, pre-arrival preparations, and post-departure resets under the direction of the Executive Housekeeper
- Collaborate with the Groundskeeper on the daily upkeep of outdoor living areas: clean patios, maintain poolside furniture, sweep walkways, and reset exterior common areas
- Coordinate trash removal, heavy lifting, and moving furnishings for deep cleaning or events
- In collaboration with the Facilities Team, assist with seasonal home preparations, including furniture set up / break down, hurricane and storm readiness and clean up, and guest turnover
- Support event setup and breakdown, including furniture movement, valet coordination, and light hospitality duties
- Handle physically demanding tasks such as moving furniture, heavy cleaning, and moving equipment (e.g. ladders)
- Assist the Transportation Technician with vehicle care as needed (e.g. cleaning, fueling, etc.)
- Partner with the Maintenance Technician in support of property maintenance, upkeep and repairs
- Assist with deliveries, errands and shopping as requested
- Ensure complete discretion and confidentiality in all interactions and tasks
- Exhibit exceptional adaptability and flexibility to accommodate last-minute changes in plans, schedules, and requests
- Remain calm and resourceful under pressure, pivoting gracefully to meet the evolving needs of the household
Qualifications
- 3+ years of housekeeping experience in a high-end private residence or luxury hospitality property
- Strong knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and care of fine materials (exotic stone, hardwood, luxury textiles, silver, crystal, etc.)
- Experience in handling and caring for high-value furnishings, antiques, collectibles and other luxury household assets to a high standard
- Tech-savvy; able to use mobile apps, smart-home interfaces, and project management platforms
- Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs, bend, climb, stand and walk for extended periods, and work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
- Possess a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards of excellence
- A keen eye for and pride in presentation, whether for formal table settings or general household organization
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact in a positive, friendly, and effective manner
- Self-motivated and highly dependable; able to work with minimal supervision
- Team player, willing to assist with other tasks outside of specific role
- Demonstrate a proactive, forward-thinking approach by anticipating needs and taking the initiative to address them
- Ability to prioritize various competing demands and demonstrate the highest level of service and response
- Ability to read and follow instructions for equipment and materials
- Ability to read and follow company policies, procedures and agreements
- Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding the principals, their family, guests, and all household affairs
- Uphold the highest levels of professionalism, decorum, and etiquette at all times
- Maintain appropriate boundaries with the family while fostering a trusting and positive working relationship
- Flexible to work outside of a normal business schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; able to travel between properties, as needed
- Legal authorization to work in the US
- Successfully complete an in-depth background investigation
$35+/hr DOE, eligible for OT
