Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized, compassionate, and proactive Household Manager/Family Assistant to join our family. This role involves completing the daily operations of our home and providing childcare and support for our two wonderful children, aged 14 months and 5 years. The ideal candidate will be a nurturing presence, capable of multitasking, and dedicated to creating a positive and structured environment for our family.

Responsibilities:

• Childcare: Provide attentive and loving care for our two children, including assistance with morning and/or bedtime routines, meal preparation, toy organization and rotation, possible school drop-offs/pick-ups, provide engaging household activities and extracurricular activity coordination.
• Household Management: Complete daily household operations, including cleaning (dishes, wiping counters, etc), organizing, seasonal decorations, laundry, grocery shopping, stocking household items, meal planning, and preparing family meals.
• Scheduling: Maintain and organize family calendars, including appointments, activities, and special events.
• Family Assistance: Run various errands as needed, such as returns, grocery shopping, managing household supplies, veterinarian appointments, travel coordination, and other miscellaneous tasks.
• Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents to ensure alignment on schedules, activities, and any specific needs.
• Travel: Open to traveling for family vacations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a household manager, nanny, or family assistant.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Background check required.
