HOUSEMAN- PROPERTY EXTERIOR UPKEEP

• THIS IS NOT A PERSONAL ASSISTANT/ HOUSE MANAGER or ESTATE MANAGER JOB.

We are seeking a reliable, hard-working Houseman to join our team.

In this role, you will support all other members of the team including housekeepers and the Estate Manager.

The candidate will be responsible for all external areas of the estate as well as the pool area.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and committed to delivering a high standard of cleanliness with high discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of external areas including gardens, pool area and walkways
• Clean skylights and windows as needed
• Assist with deliveries and putting away supplies
• Keeping garden and pool equipment in good working condition and stored neatly
• Remove trash, recycling
• Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing bulbs or reporting repairs
• Ensure storage rooms are clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Load and unload luggage
• Comfortable driving the estate vehicle if needed
• Power wash, scrub, dust, sweep, mop, polish

REQUIREMENTS

• AT LEAST 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A HOUSEMAN IN A LARGE PROPERTY
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Familiar with cleaning products and their use in different surfaces
• Ability to lift, move, at least 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
• Experience cleaning large exterior areas
• Familiar with cleaning products and equipment 
• Clean driving record
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
