Traveling Rotational Private Chef

UHNW family office is seeking an experienced private chef to join a culinary team for a fabulous family who has a refined interest in food and appreciates quality ingredients. The rotational schedule can be flexible based on the needs of the family and the chefs. The family have residences around the country so the chefs cook at various locations throughout the year depending on family travel. Housing provided when chef is not in hometown.

 Key Responsibilities

• When the principal is in residence, the chef will prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner with an emphasis on healthy and low-fat dishes using fresh ingredients.
• Keep fats, oils, salt and cream-based dishes to a minimum.
• The chef will prepare and serve daily meals for 1-6 people offering appetizer and entree option selections for lunch and dinner every day. At times, the chef will be asked to cook for larger gatherings and events.
• Ability to prepare a variety of cuisines including Asian, Indian, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and creative seafood dishes.
• Culinary expertise and a passion for creating diverse, flavorful dishes is a must.
• Ability to prepare meals from scratch, including pasta, bread, or sauces a plus.
• Brings professionalism, a calm demeanor and flexibility to the kitchen.

 Requirements

• Have at least 5 years’ experience working in a private residence or aboard yachts as Head Chef.
• Plans ahead, is organized, efficient and calm under pressure
• High level of discretion and ability to operate in a private, professional environment.
• Comfortable with dogs.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
