About the Role

We're looking for an Estate Engineering Manager for a beautiful beach front home in Naples, FL. You'll be in charge of HVAC, electrical systems, gates, lighting, pools, and regular property maintenance. You'll report directly to the Estate Manager and Principals, and there'll be an in-house training period to get you started.

This role is a great mix of facilities management and household maintenance tasks.

Your Responsibilities

  • Keep a preventive maintenance program running smoothly. This covers heating, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical work, and building maintenance.
  • Perform or oversee repairs and installations of fixtures, appliances, and equipment to ensure everything meets high standards.
  • Be available to tackle emergency issues as they come up.
  • Organize and schedule maintenance tasks with the estate manager for job assignments and projects.
  • Have knowledge in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware accessories, and water features like pools and spas.
  • Handle HVAC maintenance and repairs, including chillers, air handlers, pump repairs, motor replacements, and water treatment.
  • Manage plumbing maintenance, including garbage disposals, P-traps, sewer lines, and faucet repairs.
  • Conduct generator testing and reporting, and coordinate with vendors alongside the Estate Manager.
  • Maintain inventory, operation manuals, and stock supplies.
  • Take care of miscellaneous household maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications

You’ll need a high school diploma or GED, with vocational or trade school certification. An associate or bachelor's degree is a plus!

  • Five or more years of experience in facilities management, construction management, or similar roles.
  • Knowledgeable in plumbing, heating, HVAC, and electrical systems.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are a must.
  • Understand the importance of confidentiality.
  • Experience in installing and repairing appliances is great.
  • Familiarity with high-end finishes and materials.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Schedule

Your general schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend assistance as needed. You'll also be on call every other weekend.
