A warm and vibrant family in Nashville, TN, is seeking an organized, energetic, and caring Family Assistant to help manage their busy household of six. With four school-aged children and a mini golden labradoodle, they are looking for someone to help keep their busy days running smoothly.
Both parents are professionals with full-time careers who balance work with their love for family, outdoor activities, and quality time together. The children’s ages are 16, 14, 11 and 9 years old.
Role Overview:
The Family Assistant will play a pivotal role in ensuring the family’s afternoons and evenings are stress-free and organized. This part-time position focuses on assisting with after-school logistics, household management, and light domestic duties.
Responsibilities:
- Safely driving children to/from school and activities.
- Running errands and grocery shopping as needed.
- Preparing or starting dinner for the family.
- Managing laundry and light housekeeping tasks to keep the home tidy.
- Walking Poppy, the family’s friendly pup.
- Supervising children’s chores and homework, fostering accountability.
- Supporting busy parents in keeping the household running smoothly.

Details & Benefits:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
- Salary: $28,000-$32,000 annually.
- Time Off: 5 paid sick/personal days, 10 paid vacation days, and industry-standard holidays (negotiable).

Required Qualifications:
Age:
Candidates must be at least 21 years old.
Experience:
Related work experience is required along with verifiable references. Candidates may have a broad range of experience, but it MUST pertain to the position you are applying for. We require at least 2-3 verifiable references. Letters of recommendation from previous employers are preferred.
Driving Record:
A driver’s license is required for most positions and a motor vehicle investigation is completed prior to placement.
Criminal Background:
A criminal background investigation is completed on all candidates prior to placement.
Residency Requirement:
All candidates must furnish proof of US citizenship or eligibility to work as a legal alien.
Commitment:
Typically, candidates must be willing to commit for at least 1 year with a family. Occasionally, temporary and summer placements are requested.
